Liquid Turbine Flowmeter

These types of flowmeters are used for volume measurement or flow rate measurement. The principle of the work of these flowmeters is the same as a turbine. The rotation speed of the turbine rotor is proportional to the speed of the fluid flow that passes through the turbine. The rotation of the router around its axis induces an electromagnetic current around it, which is recorded by electrical sensors installed on the body of the flowmeter and converted into pulse signals or 4-20 milliamps. By having the fluid velocity and cross-sectional area, the device is able to display the volumetric flow rate.

Gas Turbine Flowmeter

Electromagnetic Flowmeter

 

The magnetic flowmeter is one of most flexible and universally applicable flow meter which does not have any moving parts and is ideal for waste water application or any dirty liquid which is conductive or water based. Magnetic flow meter is also ideal for the application where low pressure drop and low maintenance are required.

Coriolis Mass Flowmeter

 

The GICO Series Coriolis Meter is designed according to the principle of Coriolis force. Under the alternating current effect, the electromagnetic coils mounted on the measuring tube will make two parallel measuring tubes vibrating at a certain fixed frequency. Whenever mass (either liquid or gas) flows through the measuring tubes, Coriolis force is generated, causing a “bending” or “deflection” in the top of the tubes. This deflection is sensed as a phase shift between two electronic pick-ups mounted on the tubes. The degree of phase shift is directly proportional to the mass flow within the tubes. The mass flow rate can be calculated by detecting the phase shift of the tubes. The temperature is also measured and used for compensation.

Ultrasonic Flowmeter

 

Ultrasonic flow meters are the equipment of choice whenever the contact with the measured fluid isn't possible. Ultrasonic measurements are made by attaching two transducers onto the outside of a pipe. GIHU and GIWU series transit time ultrasonic flow meters measure the time difference between the ultrasonic pulse going upstream and the one propagating downstream. These sound waves are generated by a pair of transducers. The difference between the two intervals of time is a function of flow direction and velocity, and it represents an accurate measure for the average velocity of the liquid flowing through a pipe.

Vortex Flowmeter

 

GIVO vortex flow meter is a flow measurement device best suited for flow measurements where the introduction of moving parts presents problems. They are available in industrial grade, brass or all plastic construction. Gas Roots Flowmeter

 

It belongs to the positive displacement type, and designed for continuously measuring and indicating the accurate measurement of gas in pipeline. the application of gas roots flow meter is used for handling most types of clean, dry, common gases at either displaying constant or varying flow rates, and great for both indoor and outdoor application, is not required the straight pipe requirements as well.
